Cafe Blog #morethanacup | Commune PH
Meeting new people.
Escape from my bed-work routine.
My kind of night life.
A quick recap from the past weekend. It's a little hassle to travel going to MNL but always worth it. Scroll around residential streets of Makati. I finally met Erick's college friends. I'm happy that were taking the natural progression and for over a year of our low key relationship, we're really growing.More than that, I'm excited for the coffee date he promised me over the weekend.
After our schedule with his friends, Erick brought me to Poblacion. It was my first time in the area and I'm enthralled by its lively hip mood. Even ask him to bring me back and explore more cafe, pub and resto.
***disclaimer: not a cafe review.
COMMUNE CAFE
Commune Cafe is a cafe + bar serving Philippine coffee and some light meals.
I always see this cafe on some influencers I follow like Farrah and Crissey. My boyfriend knows how much I want to explore coffee shops (a big heart for this beau for always remembering little things)
I'm not a coffee connoisseur but always love the smell of coffee, the cafe shop vibes, appreciating interiors and the comfort brought by a cup of coffee.
Customers are only allowed to take seats on the second floor open area. I'm saddened with the absence of aircon but its for the safety of everyone against virus.
My man works even weekends so coffee shop is a yes for both of us! He'll be able to work with his reports while I'm sitting beside him...musing anything.
We ordered large cafe latte, mocha for him and added a nachos plate. We've got troubled sleeping that night regretting we should have just ordered the regular size.
And here's me outside the cafe who loves taking outfit photos.
Along an alley right before the corner spot of the commune cafe, there's an interesting public wall art.
The mirror faces.
To wrap up this entry, I just want you to know that there's no harm to get out of your daily routine. To meet new people and make friends. To discover new hang out places. To make yourself happy and be able to breathe with little things.
If it's good for your mental health, do it.
