Honey Lemon Chicken

For someone who have nothing to do while waiting for a job, Eating ready snacks became my hobby. But today, I decided to cook something for lunch since it's also Father's day. The thing is, I don't have money in my pocket, So I think of a meal which the ingredients are already available in the pantry and fridge.

So here's my recipe for today!

Honey Lemon Chicken
Servings: 3-4
Preparation time: 45 minutes

450g Chicken Breast cut into cubes

For Batter:
1/2 cup All Purpose Flour

1/2 cup Tomato Ketchup
1/2 cup Oyster Sauce
3 Tbsp Honey
1 lemon
3 tsp sugar
3 tbsp water
slice of onions

For Toppings: (optional)
Sesame seeds
almonds

• Put all the batter ingredients in a bowl, add the water slowly until it become semi thick batter
• In another bowl, Mix all the Ingredients for sauce except onions and set aside
• Dip each cubes of chicken breast in batter and fry till golden brown. It should be crispy. Once done, place it on a plate with paper towel to drain the oil. set aside.
• In another Pan, Add the mixed sauce. Wait until it is boiling and thick in texture. That will be the time you will add slice onions and the fried chicken cubes. Toss it well.
• When it is all done and prepared in a bowl, You can add up sesame seeds and crashed almonds.

Enjoy!
